How do I report a bug?

How do I delete my data?
Disconnect the account from the AutoDM dashboard, then follow the data deletion page — it explains exactly what is removed and on what timeline.
My DMs aren't sending. Where do I start?
Open the Automations screen and check the automation is armed (the toggle is on) and the connected account's token shows Healthy. If a token expired, Refresh token fixes it in one click. Still stuck? Write to us with the account username and the automation name.
Why does Instagram require a professional account?
Instagram's official messaging API — the only channel AutoDM uses — is available to Creator and Business accounts. Switching is free, takes under a minute in the Instagram app, and your content, followers and password stay exactly the same.
Is AutoDM safe for my Instagram account?
AutoDM runs entirely on Instagram's official Graph API. We never ask for your password, you connect through Instagram's own login, and guardrails like opt-out filtering, repeat suppression and rate-aware sending run before every send. No automation is risk-free — Meta can restrict any account for policy violations — but the official API plus these guardrails is the safest way to automate. AutoDM is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta or Instagram.
Is AutoDM really free? What's the catch?
The free tier includes unlimited automations with no credit card required — no trial clock, no feature paywall on the automation core. While paid AutoDM tools charge per month, AutoDM's bet is that a free tool creators love beats a paid tool they tolerate.
Do I need a professional Instagram account?
Yes — Instagram requires a Professional account (Creator or Business) for API messaging. Switching is free and takes under a minute in the Instagram app under Settings, and you can switch back any time.
Can I stop or change an automation anytime?
Anytime. Pause, edit, clone or delete automations from the dashboard in one click, and connect or disconnect Instagram accounts whenever you like. Your data can be deleted on request at any time.
